Here's where I put my new, crazy ideas--before I buy the fabric and before I actually make it practical, wearable, and/or justified. I occasionally put items of interest to me that will or will not turn into projects. Here's some that are in the works:


Completed Projects

Victorian Corsetry

One of my first costuming loves was corsetry, not because I liked the tight lacing or any modern connotations, but rather because I found the posture, asthetics, and construction style appealing. In the future, I hope to have more information on various corsets I've completed below and in the gallery.

Gothic Cranberry Wool Gown

We're talking 1350-1420 AD, not dark and depressing teenagers, here. This is a handsewn wool gown, fully lined--bodice in linen, skirt in cotton--and fitted with slim sleeves, wrist-to-elbow handmade grey wool buttons and handworked eyelets for lacing the front shut. Read more here.

Modern/Norman Green Tunic

Intended to be a modern take on the style seen from 1250-1350 in what is now England; M'lord wanted a comfortable camping tunic that would fit like something he was used to. See more here.
